Beachy Head Lighthouse. Fitting of the last masonry stone on the Beachy Head Lighthouse, southern England in 1902. The lantern is still to be put in. The lighthouse is 165 metres off the coast. Materials for the lighthouse's construction were transported via a cable way (upper left) from the top of the Beachy Head cliff. This lighthouse, which is 43 metres tall, took two years to complete.
