This is a close up image of a hot dish consisting of a Spanish stew, in particular, lentils with chorizo. Every family does them differently but all Spanish families have this stew at least once every two weeks, I particularly didn't enjoy them until I used chorizo in them, takes them to another dimension of flavour. This is an essential constituent of Spanish mediterranean diet. Other food you might see besides lentils is onion, green peppers, tomato, and garlic, some paprika spice and also This is a health and balanced food, consisting of vegetable, lentils and if you wish you can also add starch (potatoes and rice) or meat proteins like chorizo or blood sausage.
