Nelson, a performance artist, performs "Electric Chaircut" as part of the Eighth Annual Fashion District Arts Festival in New York on Thursday, October 18, 2012. He cuts the hair of volunteers with his clippers which are connected to a guitar amplifier strapped to his back releasing amplified noises reminiscent of 1950's horror festival celebrates the artists, galleries and theaters in what was formerly called the Garment Center.
