As part of the winter 2018 -19 maintaince programme the Canal and River Trust are working on regular winter maintaince on the Anderton lift in Cheshire, Over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday the 16th and 17th of February 2019 they held open day’s at the lift to allow members of the public to experience being in the areas of the lift they don’t normally have access to or have to pay for. This the lift in all her glory on the bright Saturday morning while young children don’t seem over awed by it while they are make use of the play equipment. Copyright Colin Wareing Cw 6619.
