Chaplain (Col.) Michael D. Charles, command chaplain, XVIII Airborne Corps, exits the rear ramp of a CH-47 helicopter over Sicily drop zone, July 25. Chaplains and paratroopers from across Fort Bragg celebrated the 238th birthday of the chaplain corps with a community jump. Families and soldiers came out to support their chaplains who have been hosting a series of events throughout the week to celebrate 238 years of service to the nation and the communities they serve in.
