The result of this suit wasin the interest of millers and purchasers asthe Babcocks could have saved all this cost bypaying a royalty to the prosecuting shar])ers andthen adding it to the price of their fact deserving of notice in the businesscareer of Alpheus Babcoek is that the founda-tion of Silver Creeks present prosperity waslaid by the establishment of the Eureka works,which is the pioneer of the numerous plantsthat send out thousands of smut and separatingmachines to all parts of the world.
