Temporary wooden pedestrian bridge instead of Pont-au-Change over the Seine in Paris after the fire of 1621. Meryon derived this performance to a drawing of Stefano della Bella. He even went so far that he also took over some collectors brands on the drawing, a brand is still visible and another brand at the bottom right was removed after the fifth state.
