The Ride a Cruck or Crook Barn at Arley Hall gardens Cheshire England UK


building now known as The Ride. This was originally a barn built in 1471 and converted into an indoor riding school in the 19th century. It is a timber framed building with brick infill on a stone plinth with a slate roof. Internally there are seven cruck or crook trusses. The Ride is a Grade I listed building.
