Oxford, UK. 26th October 2015. Three pet degus get an early Halloween present, their very own pumpkin lantern. Native to Chile, degus are small rodents that make popular pets, living in small groups for up to 10 years. Although their usual diet is mostly hay and grass, they are allowed an occasional treat of a bit of pumpkin, so long as they're supervised.
