These are the first street cars turned out complete inevery respect in England to be imported into this country,and they are built along the lines of the standard Canadianspecification. They are of the style commonly known asthe semi-convertible pay-as-you-enter type and arranged forsingle end control. They have double sash windows whichdrop into boxes at the sides of the cars. The ceilings areof the monitor type with ventilating windows on each vestibules at each end of the car are fitted with auto- matic folding I he single truck cars are 33 feet in length, double truckcars 40 feet. The single truck cars will accommodate 33passengers, while the double truck carriages will hold 44persons. The cars are shown in the accompanying illus-trations.
