Rank inscription on the stem of the Goblet of Honour, awarded posthumously to Willi Hoffmann of 30 on 10th February 1943. The Goblet is of the later Alpaka, silver-plated alloy type and in almost mint condition. Willi Hoffmann and his crew failed to return from a mission in the Mediterranean on 23rd January 1943.
