The command is part of the care and feeding 50th Space Wing space professionals provide on a daily basis to ensure Global Positioning System satellites remain the world's premiere space-based position, navigation and timing system. The Vice President was on base for a space orientation in support of the administration's relaunch of the National Space Council.
