Adult: Upper parts, brownish olive, or dark olive brown, shading into rufous brown on tail coverts and tail, in decided contrast to color of the back; throat and breast faintly tinged with buff; breast and sides of throat rather heavily marked with blackish arrow-shaped spots; belly, white; sides washed with pale grayish olive.
