On all of the cars the rear platform has beenclosed in and arranged with seats for twelve pas-sengers as an observation and smoking compart-ment. A rear emergency door is provided, con-trolled by levers at front and rear. When the dooris released the step is lowered, and the seat whichis across the door is raised if it is not emergency stop is also provided, the operatingknob being hung over the cash box. Pulling thisknob, which passenger may do in emergency, ap-plies air and trips the circuit breakers.
