Glenfinnan Monument at the head of Loch Shiel, Lochaber, Highlands, Scotland


Monument of an unknown highlander on the shores of Loch Shiel, erected to commemorate the 1745 Jacobite rising. Alexander Macdonald of Glenaladale built the Tower which was designed by Scottish architect James Gillespie Graham in 1815 and the statue by John Greenshields added in 1835.
