December 13, 2014, New York, NY, US: Tens of thousands of people marched through the streets of New York to protest against police brutality. It was one in a series of protests across the country following a Staten Island grand jury's decision not to indict a white police officer in the death of Eric Garner, an unarmed black man, and a Missouri grand jury's decision not to indict a white police officer in the death of another unarmed black man, Michael Brown, in August 2014.
