Air Force Staff Sgt. Carolyn Sierichs, Air Forces in Europe Band flutist, focuses on building relationships through music and advancing partnership priorities, while participating in multiple events Aug. 18-24 throughout Kyiv to celebrate Ukraine’s 30th anniversary of independence. Sierichs, a New Orleans native, received a bachelor's degree in music business and a master’s degree in flute performance. She has been in the military for over 11 years and her trip to Ukraine marks the 17th country she's played in with the USAFE Band.
