1st Century Synagogue stone at Magdala - 2

This carved stone shows, among other elements, a replica of the menorah that was situated in the Temple in Jerusalem. It is possible that the scroll of the Torah was lain on this stone during readings from the Torah. Jesus may have preached at Magdala, the home of Mary Magdalene.
