In conclusion, it might be well to state that croppings indicate thatthis field extends in a westwardly direction from half to three quartersof a mile and apparently ends abruptly on the Rancho Simi. A welldrilled on this ranch, however, failed to get any oil. To the eastward,croppings and oil seepages indicate a probable extension of the field ofnot less than six miles in this direction.
