The flower is always full double, showingno tendancy to produce single or semi-double feathery effect of the Ostrich-feathered type, towhich it belongs, is enhanced by the fact that itsears a large proportion of long, partly tubular florets,that are irregularly cut and slashed, so that the flowerlooks like a ragged Chrysanthemum. The plant iserect and of medium height, branching close to theground. The flowers are borne in profusion on long,slender, wiry stems. In season it comes betweenQueen of the Earlies and Vicks Daybreak, and istherefore classed with the early sorts.
