But time flies and I hare been pushir^ field work. So I am now sending it and shall appreciate any sugges- tions you may h&re to make, either as to the substance of the paper or the probability of its acceptance for publication by one of the Historical journals. It is not so lor^ as it looks, being wide- spaced and on narrow paper. Ssdth's letter to (Jen.
