EDWIN C. FINNEY, DISTRICT No. 24. HON. Edwin C. PlNNEY, Democratic Sena-tor from the Twenty-fourth District, was bornin Stafford, October 8, 1838, and has lived atthat place ever since. He received a commonschool education and worked on the farm, inthe mill, and at the bench until he was 25 yearsold, when he went into the manufacturing busi-ness. He was for twenty years or more con-nected with the Glynn Company, manufacturersof cotton yarns, acting all the time as treasurer and a part of the time as agent and treasurer ofthat corporation. For the past seven years Sen-ator Pinney has been engaged in the manufact-ure of woolen goods and is now agent andtreasurer of the Phoenix Woolen Company ofStafford. He served two years as Selectmanand is president of the Stafford Savings Bankand a director of the First National Bank ofStafford. Senator Finney is a Democrat. I •. ALBERT II.
