A Japanese cannon to launch fire arrows, late Edo period Cast iron barrel in Ikkaki shape, smooth bore in calibre 90 monme ( mm), rear and front sight of katafuji type. The touch hole located on top of the barrel, unsigned, barrel length 33 cm, with a pistol-like wooden shaft sliding on a kashi carriage with riveted band fittings. Four iron carrying handles. Barrel and carriage probably not original components of the cannon.
