Spain, Extremadura, Cáceres province, Valencia de Alcántara. Palace of the Dukes of la Victoria, former convent of San Francisco, founded at the end of the 16th century. During the War of Succession it served as housing for the Spanish king Philip V, whose troops used it as a field hospital.
