The Hardy, Kestrel, and French vessels Etoile and Confucius had a warm berth off the Point Battery, which was never completely two the Hardy towed the boats containing the landing party up the river to Dr. Parker's house, where they landed, and a party of installed in the lookout on its roof, which commanded a good view of the walls'.
