View towards Kowloon of 2 Star Ferries sailing past a Star Cruise Ship, moored at the Ocean Terminal, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong


Hong Kong Cruise Ships and the world's most famous liners anchor at the Ocean Terminal, north of the Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Terminal, Kowloon. Cruise ships leave the terminal daily for the international waters around Hong Kong. They offer gourmet cuisins and world class entertainment for families, honeymooners, senior citizens and business groups. Star Ferries have been transporting commuters between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon since the 1890s. The 118 storey International Commerce Centre, completed in 2010, dwarfs the IFC 2 tower acoss the water on Hong Kong Island. Tall buildings in Kowloon used to be restricted by the proximity to Kai Tak Airport, replaced in 1998 by the new Chep Lap Kok Airport on Lantau Island.
