Formidable Foxhole on the Beach at Biak. Five Coast Guardsmen, a gun crew from a Coast Guard-manned LST, stand on the alert beside their 20 mm anti-aircraft gun mounted in a sandbag foxhole in the sands of Biak Island. Jap raiders have been detected circling high overhead the Coast Guardsmen are ready to give them "the works," should they venture within range to bomb the two LSTs unloading supplies at the water's edge.
