. Star of Texas Star of Texas ® Xanthisma 3941 Texanum. This annual which is new to our northern gardens is a native of the state of Texas. It has proved a valuable addition to our gardens because it produces a great abundance of very showy large daisy-like blooms with pointed petals of the richest sulphur yellow. The plants form neat well- rounded bushes about 18 inches tall and bloom profusely from midsummer until frost, li ft. Pkt. 20c; large pkt. 7Sc.
