Theyhad been long fhut up in the poffeffion of a perfon of the name ofBrown, who lived many years in Spring-gardens, and kept an ob-fcure cofTee-houfe oppofite the paflage into the Park. This collection contained fomevery beautiful fpecimens of the works of Vandervelde, which, bybeing thus difperfed, enriched the cabinets of many of the firftcollectors in England. Mr. Greenwood died at Margate, Sept. 16, 1792, aged 63. ROBERT EDGE PIXE, Born in London, was the fon of Mr. John Pine, the engraver,who executed and publifhed the elegant edition of Horace, thewhole of which is engraved. He chiefly praftifed as a portrait painter, and was confideredas among the beft colouriils of his time.
