A Cove in Dorset

This delightful cove in Dorset is a little difficult to reach necessitating a climb down a rocky hillside but is well worth it once negotiated offering stunning views of Weymouth Bay and Portland. There is also a coast path offering a delightful walk along the Jurassic Coast. The cove itself is a peaceful place and is ideal for exploring the rock pools or just gently relaxing. In days gone by, this part of the coast was used by smugglers to bring in their contraband. Refreshments are available at the aptly named Smuggler's Inn.
