Much loved and highly regarded Thaxted Morris Dancer, Organ Builder, Part Time Fireman and Church Warden Peter King 88, who died of natural causes on 27 March 2020 was buried today in the old church yard at St John the Baptist with our Lady and St Laurence. Normally he would have been sent off with a fine gathering of the Thaxted Morris Dancers but because of the Coronavirus disease and the regulations allowing only 4 or 5 attendees at a funeral it was a slightly muted affair.
