This timberwork projected above thestonework and supported a swinging staging hang-ing upon the outer walls. From this swinging stag-ing the building of the walls was done. At the com-pletion of the walls this interior timberwork, of course,remained in place, and it was proposed to utilize it asa staging for the construction of the interior was therefore necessary to reverse the usual orderof constru
