Bymeans of a swivel base the machine canbe rotated through a complete feature, in addition to a specialleaf spring support at the motor endof the shaft, assists in eliminating un-necessary bending of the shaft. Troubleis generally de\ eloped at the inner endof the shaft, where it connects with themotor shaft, and the added protectionprolongs its life. GRINDING AND BUFFING MACHINE In the combination grinding and buff-ing machine brought out by the Cin-cinnati Electric Tool Company, provi-sion is made for the alternate grindingand buffing of the work without theremoval of the wheels, these being fittedto opposite ends of the spindle.
