Vladimir Zhirinovsky, a highly controversial yet prominent politician who headed the right-wing Liberal Democratic Party of Russia from 1992, died on April 6, 2022. The politician had been ill for weeks after contracting Covid-19. Zhirinovsky was widely known for his outrageous personality and regular vulgar outbursts.
