Remaining there onlyone year, he removed to Trenton and l)ecame an active practitioner for threeyears, when he returned to Lindley, and has successfully practiced his pro-fession in that village and vicinity since. Dr. Cabell has been married three times. His first wife was Miss EllenBallentine, of Zanesville, Ohio; they were married December 6, 1854, andshe died in May, 1855. Dr. Cabell and Miss Alice Oliver were united inmarriage on the 22d of August, 1857. She was a native of Medianicsburg^Pennsylvania, and died August 15, 1869. The issue of this union wasthree children; named, respectively, James O., born July 21:, 1858; Poca-hontas, born October 29, 1865; and Robert H., born December 1, 1871 Dr. Cabell married Miss Sallie E.
