The new Medical School building and the students accommodation are located on the University of Limerick campus across the Shannon. The buildings surround a new landscaped garden and a piazza. Built of brick and local limestone the medical school building houses clinical skills practice labs, seminar rooms, lecture areas, a cafeteria and offices.
