Medical professionals insert a Micra Transcatheter Pacing System into a patient at the Keesler Medical Center April 13, 2017, on Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. The Micra Transcatheter Pacing System is a new type of heart device that provides patients with the most advanced pacing technology at one-tenth the size of a traditional pacemaker. Keesler is the first Air Force hospital to offer the world’s smallest pacemaker for patients with bradycardia.
