Hydrobiology research. Scientist in a boat monitoring a water reservoir as part of his hydrobiology research. Hydrobiology is the study of life in water. It is a sub-discipline of ecology restricted to aquatic environments and their inhabitants. Here, the researcher is taking water samples at different depths of the reservoir.
