The stone texture of the ruins of Rievaulx Abbey near the market town of Helmsley in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park in Britain. Rievaulx Abbey was a Cistercian abbey, and was one of the great abbeys in England until it was destroyed by King Henry VIII of England in 1538 during the dissolution of the monasteries.
