Russian general Alexander Kutepov depicted on his cenotaph at the Russian Cemetery in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois (Cimetière russe de Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois) near Paris, France. General Kutepov was one of the leaders of the White Army during the Russian Civil War and the commander of the Russian All-Military Union (ROVS) in exile. On 26 January 1930, he was kidnapped in Paris by agents of the Soviet secret service OGPU, later known as the NKVD and the KGB. His body was never found.
