José Doroteo Arango Arámbula (5 June 1878 – 20 July 1923), aka Francisco Villa or Pancho Villa – was a prominent Mexican Revolutionary general. He stands in the center of a group of his soldiers for this portrait. This is a public domain newspaper image, circa 1910. It was cropped and digitally restored to remove marks, stains, spots etc. Film grain is still apparent.
