Tightening of Extension Bandage (Figs. 3 and 4).—•The surgeon takes au extension bandage in each hand andpasses one of them over, the other under, the lateral barsof the Thomas spliut. First one bandage and then theother is thereafter passed round the notch in the crossbar,a complete turn being taken
