Mr. Clark wasnever formally settled, but was hired frcjni year to church having had some tr(ju])le with previous pastorsthought it a better policy not to settle another. FrcnnApril, 1880, to April, 188S, the ])ulpit was supplied IjyRev. F. G. Webster, who alscj preached at the same timeat Cummington, where he resided. From May, 1888, toMarch, 1889, Rev. Geo. E. Spaulding supplied. At thelatter date he was obliged to resign on account of ill June, 188!), Rev. John A.
