Spc, Joseph Clemens, canine handler, deployed as part of ASG-KU DES, conducts an April 23, 2021 threat detection sweep of vehicles and containers at the Port of Shuaiba, Kuwait prior to vessel operations with his military working dog QQuarell. The canine unit Soldiers are charged with the mission of detecting explosive device as well as providing a psychological deterrent, while providing force protection to military assets at Port of Shuaiba, Kuwait.
