China: Chinese Muslim warlord Ma Hongbin (1884-1960), was a prominent Muslim Ma clique warlord in China during the Republic of China era (1911-1949). Ma Hongbin was born in Linxia, Gansu, China. He was a cousin of Hui Muslim warlord Ma Hongkui. He fought hard and well against the Japanese, and joined the communists in 1949. He died in Lanzhou in 1960.
