NORFOLK, Va. (May 8, 2017) The aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike) moors pier side to the pre-commissioning unit (PCU) Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78). Ike is currently pier side during the sustainment phase of the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP).
