Philip Battaglia, the Long Knife Brigade,1st Cavalry Division Commander, along with members of the Non-Government Alkytha Organization, helps prepare food baskets for local Iraqi citizens of Amarah during a food-drop mission Sept. 25, 2008. The 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division Soldiers assisted during the mission, which fed appoximately 680 families at the city's main soccer stadium in the Maysan province.
