This photograph along with 3 other photos describe the preparation for "Biswakarma Puja", ie, worship ritual of God Biswakarma. According to Hindu belief, Biswakarma is the God for artisans and technical workers. Here 2 men are seen preparing for a very humble celebration of the puja while the man who will perform the "puja" stranding and watching (at the left). This is a very humble arrangement by the villagers of a small mountain village of West Bengal's part of Himalayan Hills, though it does not lack in joy and happiness.
