Saturn-Moon observations. 18th-century journal page showing observations made of the appearance of Saturn as it emerged from behind the dark limb of the Moon on 16 June 1762. These observations were part of the paper 'Certain Reasons for a Lunar Atmosphere' by the British amateur astronomer Samuel Dunn (died 1794). The paper appeared in volume 52 (1761-2) of the journal 'Philosophical Transactions', published by the Royal Society of London.
