Ceres' Mountain, Ahuna Mons

This side-perspective view of dwarf planet Ceres' mysterious mountain Ahuna Mons was made with images from NASA's Dawn spacecraft. Dawn took these images from its low-altitude mapping orbit, 240 miles (385 kilometers) above the surface, in December 2015. This mountain is about 3 miles (5 kilometers) high on its steepest side. Its average overall height is miles (4 kilometers). The diameter of the mountain is about 12 miles (20 kilometers).
